LEADERSHIP

Austen Stephens, MBA, currently serves as the Dean of Student Affairs at Chadron State College. He has been an integral part of CSC since 2014, following his completion of both the undergraduate and master's programs at the college. Mr. Stephens began his professional journey in Housing and Residence Life as the Assistant Director of Residence Life in Edna Work Hall and Wing. His dedication and leadership skills were quickly recognized, being selected as the Director of Housing and Residence Life in 2017. In February 2023, Mr. Stephens was appointed as the Interim Dean of Student Affairs, assuming the full role of Dean in June 2023. In his current capacity, he continues to enhance student experiences and support holistic development across the college campus.
